Rogue Downwind board
« on: November 24, 2015, 11:08:00 AM »
The Rogue 14x25 and 14x27 boards look promising. I'm hearing that they are one of the best options for turning nicely on a bump once the wind gets up. The 2015 and 2016 models are the same design.
Here's a video of Dimitris riding the board in Greece:

Here's their web site: http://www.roguesup.com/#!downwindseries-bluer1-video/c15ho

I use my Starboard Ace now for downwinders but when the wind gets over 25mph, I'm thinking of getting another board that's easier to carve turns on the bumps. If anyone has comments or experience on the Rougue 14x25 or 14x27 Downwind, would love to hear them.

I am awaiting confirmation from the seller to buy a used one.
If this goes through as I was the first one to express interest, I might be able to reply after a few months o use :-)

Cheers,

Luc

The 2015 custom construction, a little bit more discrete.

What would you say are the differences between the 2015 Rogue Downwind board and other downwind boards? - For example, SIC Bullet 14 v2, Starboard All Star 14x25, Fanatic Falcon 14x24.75, etc. - or other downwind boards you've tried.

Thanks.

Thanks. Your videos are what first caught my interest in the Rogue downwind boards. Do you use the Aercor fin in all your videos?

So which fin do you prefer in which conditions? Which fin turns better? Thanks.

I cannot speak for our Greek champion :-) but I tried both fins on a Glide V2, the Aercor wins no contest, a lot smoother in the turn.

Cheers,
