Bandon has killer Barbequed oysters down at the harbor. I had a dozen with butter and garlic on the way back from the PPG.

Every bit as good as the ones in Bodega Bay, though not as good as mine. But then what is?
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Wow! Really appreciating all the replies, info, and good vibes. I sooo wanna go now. If I wasn't right in the middle of spending a sh!t ton of $$s on getting my 57 yr old set of coppers overhauled I'd buy a ticket right now!

red- thanx for the invite. I would be stoked on a decent rental sup. Seems every time I go to Costa Rica I end up w/the same old 9 something Naish.
DCSurf- Wetsuits? We need the good stuff. 5/4 full at least for dead of winter. 5mil three finger gloves that DON'T leak and 7 mil close toed booties are a MUST! My full is an O'Niell Pyro Tec 5.5/4 hooded. Thing is a heater. If you really wanna stay warm go w/Rip Curl Dry Lock hooded full.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
