Storm Swells
« on: October 04, 2015, 05:29:16 PM »
Home from three day Florida trip. Friday was blown out in Cocoa Beach. I paddled out anyway, which was interesting, but not too smart. After bobbing around and getting pitched a few times, I caught one in, on my knees, and called it a day. Met my wife and two daughters in Mayport on Friday afternoon. Woke Saturday and started working the storm swell. Conditions were clean with an offshore blowing at about 10-12. My daughter was visiting us from Nashville and decided to take some pics. Let's see if I'm smart enough to get them uploaded.

I hope the swells make their way north to our NE zoners.

Thanks TD. My first surfing photos. I normally go alone and keep to myself.

coosawpaul! Sounds Ausie! Sooo glad to hear you scored in FL! They def got the good stuff w/out the drama. Here in NJ it was a nightmare! Well almost.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
