Ex Windsurfer, now SUP-man tries kite boarding

It's funny.  My wife and I were actually planning on taking proper lessons back around the late 2000s.  We even bought a couple trainer kites from Slingshot.  Then the recession hit and I lost my job, then got back into the work force and then she lost her job and blah blah blah we never ended up taking lessons.  Then hearing about "kitemares" and thinking about how much a dropped kite would not be a my idea of a good time.  We still like to fly the trainers though and who knows?
