I'm traveling on business to the Vero Beach Florida area this Thursday. I have a clear slate for Friday and hope to get a session or two in while I'm in the area.

 I'll probably spend Thursday night on Patrick AFB, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Anyone have any suggestions of SUP Surf friendly breaks in the area?

Paul, Lucky you...  Big-n-clean a the moment..  A friend likes Jetty Park at the N. end of Canaveral/Cocoa. Most crowd the Pier.  Here's a cam close to Jetty Park.

not me--i'm only there when i visit my father in VB--and i prone down there--only prone boards in his garage--but there are 3 nice peaks at sebastian--wabasso can be nice, depending on bars--can be nasty neck-breaking shorebreak too.

When we go down for Spring Break we go to 16th street - really don't have anything to compare it to, but nice parking area and folks have been friendly there and seems to always been a break.

Ah, Cocoa Beach where there are more cigarette butts than sand grains. They had to ban smoking on the beach its so bad. But the water is good!

Cocoa was a bit blown out on Friday, but Jax was fun today.

Historic swell: Size + Conditions + Duration! After a long flat summer.

Yeah, the summer was a challenge for sure. I recall two, maybe three good days until we hit September. Sat and Sun was indeed a treat. I surfed at Jax until I was pretty well exhausted, then sat on the beach Sun afternoon and enjoyed watching the proners on their short boards tear it up. One last photo that my daughter took that I like.
