shorter/flexible fin for river SUP

Finally got my board and took it for a 10 mile paddle down the Hooch on Saturday. I ran into trouble on the shoals where it was too shallow for my fin, dinged up the fin pretty good on rocks and had to walk it over one particularly long section.

I searched old threads and found a rec for these flexible fins:

two questions

1) are fins pretty much all interchangeable as far as installation - will any brand of fin fit my board?

2) any other recs for short, flexible fins or is that one good?

That one is good, I have one and it is interchangeable with a standard fin box.  Get their stainless "no tool" screw too.

That one is pretty short, which might be good for you but Surfco Hawaii makes some longer ones that flex too.
