headmount--if you ever get tired of "headmount" you could change your name to "headroom".

Nice car, Headroom!  I have wider racks on my Prius for the same reason.  Just be careful when you get stuff out of the car, I keep bumping my head on them.

I put orange sail tape on the ends because of that.

That Leaf looks like it is destined to be a best seller.  It looks like what you want a practical electric car to be. The Volt is pretty cool, too.

I have seen a few Leafs on the freeway and they look nice. In a two person house, even on the mainland, it makes sense to have one electric for local buzzarounds and one hybrid four wheel drive aka Subaru for longer excursions. 

I could afford a pompous guzzler, but I just can't get into those grandiose ass chariots anymore.  I am not a Sierra Club tree hugger, either, but there just seems like something terribly anti-karma about large gassers, unless they are truly used for work purposes and have a reason.
