Favorite Video Clips
« on: August 30, 2015, 09:56:19 AM »
Hi all,

Sorry if there is already a thread like this already running.  I'm hoping to start a thread of favorite video clips. Here are some to get started (these were already shared in various posts throughout):

Anyone have a good longboardSUP clip?

This might be very well THE best sup surfing video EVER!

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Another reason to visit Iceland. Other than Elin that is:

Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

I don't even click on those 'Everest without Oxygen' SUP vids..  But, this is one I can daydream about:  Antoine Delpero in France.

If you want a longboard SUP video it's worth checking out Chris "Guts" Griffiths on his 10'8" Jimmy Lewis. The videos are a few years old now but his style is cool and one of the reasons that I now have a 10'8" Hanalei (not that I'll ever be able to do the board justice!).

The Iceland video is stunning. I took a school group there back in 2005 on a geography field trip. The landscape was so spectacular and the word of the trip was definitely 'WOW'!

Always loved the Laird "Satisfaction" trick compilation.  This is a close second fav, partly for the interaction with the wind boarders.
