Stick Friendly Breaks and Rental Shop near Torrence CA
« on: August 03, 2015, 08:11:51 AM »
Folks,
I am going to be working in Torrence, CA on and off for the next 8 weeks, Tues-Thursday. Looks like its close to Redondo, Manhattan and other beaches..

Any breaks around there stick friendly?

Any rental shops that would rent me a smaller board and stick? I ride an 8'3 with a 74 inch stick. I am OK with adjustable paddle.

Would bring wetsuit and can imagine surfing dawn patrol and or after 5 PM in the evenings.

I live in Oregon and would reciprocate any aloha that comes my way when folks head north.

Thanks in advance.

You can surf with me...

El Porto and Manhattan pier is friendly.

Try Olympus board shop in Torrance/Redondo
Tarsan in Hermosa/Redondo
Nikau Kai in Manhattan beach

I ride RAT nearly every morning. Never rented though, so I don't know who to stop at. I can ride my regular surfboard if you get desperate and want to borrow my SUP for a session.
