Depends

When I feel like slashing I ride my 8'2 at 120 ltr.

When I feel like nose riding my long board is 10'5 and 156 ltr.

When the wave are big I ride my 9' 8 at 141 ltr.

I wish I weighed 185 but with wetsuit and the scale I am closer to 200 lbs.

Still One SUP quiver:  Pearson Laird Surftech Longboard 10'6"x29.75"x4.375," 154 liters,
 26 lbs, 3 boxes

I currently weigh 185 lbs.

Currently running itty-bitty side bites and a 4.75" center fin all the way back in the box
(actually hangs out over, behind the box because it is notched (rear pin, of course)).

Earlier this week out in up to 2x overhead surf - worked about the best of all my fin set ups (lots).
Held well for nose riding, turned well, had a great time!
 ;D

edit: I was surprised the small fin setup (above) held well for nose riding on such large waves.
A different setup with bigger sides and a 4" middle typically pulled out on steeper waves,
especially if I sped up and was surfing more parallel to the wave - letting me do a sideways slide
- of course that's fun too but maybe not when the waves are big.

Anyway, 154 liters, 185 pounds.

Me:  5'6" and 205

My one and only is a 7s Ubersmooth (7'10) at 128 liters.

It has only been 3 years finding the balance, and now this thing rips!

Mostly ride two different 9-7 x 31s, listed at 157l and 136l

56/6-4/210 today, been 220 or under this calendar year.

Used to be 6-5 before gravity chipped me down. Was over 250# last march. Loosing even 10lbs makes a huge difference in how a given board rides.

I don't particularly trust the stated volume of (non-machine shaped) production boards. I got burned back in my windsurfing days.  Bought a board listed at 114 whose tank test volume was shown to 98l. Sank pretty fast when the wind died.

6'-2"/210 51yo

Fanatic 9-5 Allwave 170 liters   9'-5" x 32.25"
Fanatic 12 Ray Wood 271 liters  12' x 31.75"

Started with a Surftech Balboa 221.8 liters 11'-6" x 33.66" last year. Got the 9-5 Allwave shortly thereafter to start SUS (former proner). Huge difference of course between the two stability wise. Still dialing in the Allwave. Having a tough time in the chop with it, but getting there. Making gains every time I get out in the surf with it.

Humbled newbie post from last year

Got rid of the Surftech and went to the Ray Wood 12' about a month ago. The Ray is better suited for me for ocean paddling, and paddling in the bay when it's windy/choppy than the Surftech.

My sig says it.  Prowave 134L most of the time, 65 yo, probably 220 pounds or so wet.  It is going to take me another couple of months to get my lazy body to do the Prowave right. I have had it about 7 months, but about three months with my twisted left knee back to good operating condition.

I have been practicing spin turns, which in turn has given me some clues as to how to stand back with my back foot on the kick pad. My surfing turns are getting better as a result, too.

Also have been finding a spot just back from the primary balance spot where with feet parallel on the stringer I can bob back out over chop. I have seen guys doing this, and now am starting to do it, too. I have been practicing roll offs, too, which seem to be a variation of the spin turn but just on and over the wave face.

My body is a mystery, and some days I have it and some days I don't. Very slow improvement, but getting there.

Two boards, one at 160 liters, one at 178 liters.
Me? A compact 225 pounds before lunch and without a wetsuit.

My philosophy has always been to find the easiest board that still surfs, instead surfing the smallest board that I can barely paddle.

But hey, that's just me.

One thing to understand is that volume isn't the defining factor on stability, paddle speed or even wave riding capabilities. It's but 1 piece of the puzzle.
Boards:

8-10 x 31 Egg
8-11 X 32 Double wing Fangtail Tom Whitaker
8-6 X 30 1\2  Inbetweener Tom Whitaker
8-4 x 30 Hyper quad Tom Whitaker (wife's now)
8-4 X 31 1\4.  Round (wide) Diamond Tail Quad Tom Whitaker
9-4 X 30 1\2. Swallow Stinger Quad Tom Whitaker (ex wifes now)

10' 6 x 33" Edge Elite @ 175 L
8'3 x 29"  Hana Lima @ 120 L
7'4 x 30"  Jammer @ 115 L

Kind of regret selling the AllWave.
