Inflatable SUP electric pump
« on: July 30, 2015, 12:46:28 PM »
I bought an inflatable SUP about a month ago and am already tired of the hand pump.  I would like an electric pump that can be set to automatically shut off at a specified PSI.  I'm not sure if they make any that take batteries AND would plug into my car but that would be a bonus.  Anyone have any suggestions on a good sup pump?

This Is a German Page but technical specifications should be underdtandable.
They Seen to be connected to mistral somehow.
Read about it in a german sup mag - no personal experience.

Hi JeffG, It's not electric but it may be a step up from the hand pump you are using now. The Titan Pump is a double chamber pump, pumping in double the volume of air of a normal pump at first, then you just remove a small plug and pump on the high pressure cylinder only to finish it off. Good to 20-25PSI.

Take a look here: http://greenwatersports.com/shop/red-paddle-co-titan-pump

If you are set on an electric pump, I've not yet found any that can inflate a board to high pressure in a timely fashion. But, this adaptor might suit your needs when you find a pump: http://greenwatersports.com/shop/red-paddle-co-inflatable-sup-schrader-valve-adaptor

This is the Bravo pump. Some other brands use that too with their logo on it. Bravo is planning to release a higher pressure version up to 20 psi.

Interesting. It looks like Mistral already offers the new 22PSI Bravo pump. Maybe by end of the year, we in North America will be able to get our hands on them as well.

Currently I am using the 14.5PSI version and then top the boards of with the supplied hand pumps.

Thanks for the replies.  That titan pump actually looks really good even though it is not electric.  Kind of spendy though.
