Cabo San Lucas fun on 8.6 Tomo
« on: July 27, 2015, 06:27:53 PM »
Had a blast today on small fun waves at my home break and thought I would share.    My wife just took this one clip and then took a nap on the beach... Last few days had some size at 2 to 3' OH and it was a blast  My board is 8.4 X 32" wide.. Stable, loose, quick and nimble and will handle anything I want to surf.  I had it on DDO shipwrecks and it handles just fine....  Got lucky on this board, best board I have ever made... I will try to get someone to take some more video in the next few days.

Your video downloads, then it can played. I watched it, it was nice, but low res.

If you have a youtube account, post it to youtube and they will give you the link to open up a direct window in the post.

Its a great spot with only a few guys out.  Its half the size of anywhere else, but its still fun...12minutes from my doorstep to surfing.  Not bad.

Your vid starts right when you are coming out of a fat barrel! Board looks like it's working great Grant.

THAT looks fun! Nice style! You're surfin' that board well.
I've hit Cabo 3x over the yrs. Didn't sup back then though. Now I REALLY wanna go back and "Stand On It"!  ;D
I was impressed how good Cabo gets. Had some size my last trip there in 2011. First coupla shots were off the point (Old Man's, The Rock?). Last shot was off our hotel/condo on the hotel strip----UNRIDEABLE!

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

I love Cabo, its so cool to have a ton of year around  spots to surf, both Pacific and Sea of Cortez...Cabo gets good, real good...  The rock and old mans are two of my favorite spots when it gets size.

Those are great pics.  Lots of spots to SUP surf where you can be alone or with a few friends.

The board is so cool, ugly as hell, but surfs great.. Thanks to Skip Smith who shared the rocker with me..

Now got to learn how to post photos. Attachments ?
