The Cool of Summer
« on: July 24, 2015, 10:36:56 AM »
Some fun surf mid July here in New Jersey. NICE and warm! V-Box and Assassin gettin' the haul!

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Great vid!  Looks like you have that break wired.

Uncrowded this morning at L41.  Wharf to Wharf race made it tough for many to get to the water.  I was in early to try out the new Speeed.  Learned I better be set up right, cause when that wave comes things are going to unfold in a hurry.  Got plenty of good waves, looks like this week I'm going to be in early every day.  Bump on the way!  8)

Thanx,  Tahoepaddlesurf, SCruzSUPr, WhatsSUP,  coldsup,  PonoBill,  and SlatchJim! I was stoked on those waves! It's def been a GREAT summer here in NJ. I just got off an eight day run of sup surfing at my local. Walked to a wave every day for over a week. Miracle all my parts are still working!

Great vid!  Looks like you have that break wired. Learned I better be set up right, cause when that wave comes things are going to unfold in a hurry.
Thanx on the vid and I should have that break wired by now! Been here since 1970! I know what you mean about unfolding in a hurry. Well put and I'll always remember that!
Looks like a GREAT SUS spot you've got there!
It really is. I'm sooo lucky it's a good spot for SUS (although I never call it that  ;))
Now I want to go east for a trip!
Def contact me PM if you do. I've yet to meet another "Outa Town Zoner".

What a great vid!  Very enjoyable, didn't feel like 6min+ at all :)
One of the nicest I've seen, that solo shot (or someone) filming is
definitely the nicest view of the action.  The ending looked like a
pro production work.

Also a good show of the performance between the tomo and shortboard
shapes. The beginning waves on the tomo looked easy even thought the
conditions were a bit difficult. And it was beautiful to see the assassin
fitting into the clean offshore waves. Nice foot on the tail shortboard work.

Thanx surfinJ. Appreciating the nice comments. Been SUCH a great summer here in NJ! Plenty to go around and good vibes a plenty!  8) 8)

It is indeed the SOLOSHOT2 that did all the work shooting! I also prefer it's pov over a GoPro. Only used my GoPro once or twice all summer.
