CCBC 2015 and Naish

The folks at Naish have been so good to us. We'll be selling tickets and have the new Glide GS that we are raffling this year on display at the Challenge on the Charles on July 25 and someone will be going home very happy when we pull the name at the CCBC on August 22.

I'm getting a few tickets myself, its time to trade in the dinosaur for the newer model. It will go so well with my new yellow board shorts...almost as if this thing was meant for me.

Whoever wins this (if its not me) has to let me take a test drive. I love the looks of this board, it just seems like it screams  great big guy DW board. 29" with pretty thick rails has to be crazy stable. Very similar rocker to my Vec....me likey.

We usually get around retail value in raffle ticket sales. Even though our numbers are down a little I expect this one might surpass that....ie: i'm stuffing too....ssshhh....don't tell Sue.....:)

Special thanks to Bob Babcock and the CCBC crew for putting together another fantastic summer of events, great raffle prizes, fun parties and constantly bringing the paddling community together for such a great cause.

Winning the Naish board was extremely exciting and seeing the look on Stoneys face when he said my name was absolutely priceless !!

I am humbled to be a part of such a great group of folks and look forward to being in all the 2016 CCBC events.

Taking the board for it's maiden voyage tomorrow after some surf !!

Bob you can borrow it whenever (especially of I can get you and Sue down my way for a paddle around Battleship cove).
