probably not but I want women to know that their place in the surf industry and ocean culture is not solely or primarily in a bikini or behind the counter as the administrative assistant. And PC needs a better definition, I assume and hope that consenting adults use words for each other which are agreed upon out of respect in private and in public.

Lighten up...Everyone knows there are only two flavors of people in the surf culture...Chicks & Dudes.

Being offended by a woman being affectionately called a girl is not a problem.
Getting up in the morning to scrounge through the city garbage dump to keep from starving to death...that's a problem.
Walking 10 miles for a bucket of water to share with your family in some third world country...that's a problem.
Let's keep this in perspective.....
