BikeSuping on the Potomac, round two

So I posted about my first shot at bikesuping a few weeks back and had a request to make a video of my setup.  I'm not too good at video editing and didn't have anyone with me to film, so this is rough (and sped up 2x since I know no one wants to watch a 5min + video of me messing around with gear).  But I went a second time last weekend, had strong winds again, and did a 7 mile Potomac Downwinder/Downriver with my bike on board.  I flipped it around at the historic Monocacy Aqueduct on the C&O Canal and rigged the board up on my bike and rode back on the C&O Towpath for 7 miles.  It was another awesome day and I topped 7.2mph on the SUP for stretches since the winds were so strong and the current as well.

I think I'm getting hooked on this idea and have been exploring Google Maps and marking all the rivers I could do around here - each notated by optimal wind direction.  The options are endless.  Spring and Fall especially are really windy around DC and regardless of wind direction I have plenty of options within an hour drive-time to run a river or parts of the Chesapeake Bay, and bike back.  I just need that lighter inflatable now to make the bike legs a bit easier.....

I have Brompton,  so all I need now is a waterproof bag for it and an inflatable.
