What software are you using to do your editing or are you adding text within Youtube?

I added text using the GoPro editing software.  I forgot to save a clean/blank copy (no text or music) before added text and music.

I am using iMovie and it is easy to add and remove text to the project or go back to an old one and change it. I am sorry I am not familiar with the GoPro software. :(

I agree, iMovie is simple and not all that powerful, but I really like it.  You can scrub through lots of vid and isolate specific clips very quickly.  Not all that powerful with effects or text, but a snap to quickly make a usable vid.

Ben, can you upload just that portion again and replace it?

Did you finalize it already?
It's not overhead to me!

Yes and I don't have the original video clips.

I just tried to import and edit a finalized mp4 I did with the gopro software, and nogo. I did find the original file by going to the File tab and one of the pull down menu options is Recent Projects. It was listed and I was able to edit the original. Look there.......

Thanks.  There are more recent projects so it's no longer existed.

They should still exist. It usually only displays the last 5 projects on the Recent tab. Try a search of your C: drive. Search for .gcs files.

Ok ... totally forgot about the old MacBook Pro that has Imovie that's gathering dust.  So I transferred the video from the PC to the MacBook and will start looking into the editing process.  I'm getting old and forgetful  :(
