The best thing I have found for mixing epoxy is a Gram Scale.  That resin research should be mixed 100 grams to 45 grams by weight or 100:45.

I have a gram scale that goes to 1KG by 0.1 grams, but have found that it doesn't have great resolution if I want to whip together a small 5 or 10 gram batch so I bought a 300 gram scale that measures to 0.01 grams.  There all about $10 on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-Scales-Digital-BL-1KG-BLK/dp/B0012N1NAA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1429396941&sr=8-3&keywords=gram+scale

I took a copy of this sheet and taped with with clear packaging tape to the resin container for quick reference.  Download the attached PDF which is identical to the photo below.

I pour the Resin first which is thicker and keep a plastic spoon handy to catch, or dole out the last few milligrams.  If you over pour just stick the spoon in a ladle out the extra.  Tare out the scale and proceed with the hardener which is much thinner.  I typically pour in the hardener until I am close, but it does go fast.  At the end I use another plastic spoon of a different color.  Just pour a little puddle into the spoon.  Drip out the last few milligrams off the end of the spoon and VOILA.  If you over pour the hardener take note, get our your iPhone and re-calculate how much more Resin you may need.

Pretty soon you'll be fixing your wife's jewelry and other things around the house.  Add epoxy to braided fishing line and there is almost nothing you can't fix  8)

great info standuped ... i want to make it look like new  ;D

Beasho.... or should I call you "numbers"?
I wish you were one of my bartenders.... they poured my future into everyone else's drinks.

You mean my method of the classic free pour "looks about right"  isn't gonna cut it? ;D ;D ;D
My usual goal is to avoid smoke coming from the cup as I work with it.

This layup requires a proper cure... so Thanks!

The red on my Prowave looks exactly the same as the red on my 2004 Subaru WRX wagon.  People have commented that I got the board to match the car, but I'm not that vain or fashion conscious, it was just serendipity.  Besides, who buys a board to match a 12 year old car.

If you can't find the paint code from Fanatic for the board, the Subaru red paint code from 2004 would probably work.
2013 Fanatic Prowave LTD 9'3"x30.5x@134L
Sunova Speeed 8'10"x29.12@131L
Sunova Flow 8'7"x30.25"@121L
Carbon 9.3x32@163L Hammer
Me: 6'1"@230 lbs 68 years old

If you speak to Greg Mr RR he says that the accuracy of graduated cups is fine for RR. The smaller the amount you mix the more accurate you need to be, I never mix less than about 12g total and standard gram scales seams more than ok and never had a problem. For big batches graduated cups can easy be 10g or more out doing it by eye so one or two g out on a big batch is fine. I forget the exact time but full cure will take place with out any added heat in a few days at 20-25deg
This is surf boards were talking about not space ships there's no need to over complicate  or over think it.

With RR I work to 23 grams equals 30 mls.

So for mixes of less than 15 mils I use syringes to draw out the resin and hardner. Usually a 10 ml for the resin and 5 mil for the hardner. Works better IMHO for small amounts than scales.
