Downwinder with the Oahu crew on 3/29/15

Here is a video of a downwinder with the Oahu crew, some of the nicest people you will find anywhere.  I was coaching Andris on this run, he is a very competitive paddler from Latvia and did great considering he only has a few downwinders under his belt. Don't be fooled by the footage, I did have to paddle, I just edited the strokes out, using the paddle as a selfie stick.  Andris is on a 14' board, I'm on a new 17'6 x 27" Blue Planet unlimited board.

Hi Robert. Looks like you have a great Crew there and stoked to see Andris on one of his first downwinders. That paddle mount works well. I'm going to have to try that when I next take our crew out. Oh and your 17-6 looks awesome. Loved the footage at the end close to the reef. You obviously know that area well!

I had just a few minutes to swing by Blue Planet yesterday. I picked up a few things for my son and I, and got the Zoner photo op with Robert. Great shop! Lots of great boards in stock.
