I thought about a wide tip race touring board before, but always pictured the wide part being almost two separate hulls like snow mobile steering skids. Robby almost hits the wide part with his paddle. With my height, length of paddle and reach, I'd hit the nose for sure.
Do you think Robby's compensating for something?
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

I'm a little afraid to ask  "just what are you penetrating?"

Something fishy around here  ;D

I demo'd the inflatable version and it was great up to the first couple hundred strokes.   Then it suddenly went limp and shrunk to half its length.

I also was turned off by the fine print in the instructions that said for safety it should only be used with the board bag on.

They think so, but nobody can tell if it's in yet.

They also recommend if you try out a rental that you wear a rash guard.

Put some big twin keel fins on there and you might have something. I did hear if you surf it for more than 4 hours you should see a doctor though.

I'd think thrusters might make more sense.

At 12'6, it's only for the little guys. It would need to be another 5 feet or so before I'd be seen stroking on it.
