Yeah it was pretty nice. Creek makes me sound good but I still have a ways to go getting my head straight. A lot of those rides I was just barely hanging on. What looked like form might have been spaz... :P. I was shocked to have such a hard time on the Alana, especially in the beginning...30" wide and I almost couldn't KNEEL on it. I fell off the damn thing while on my knees about 5 times in that 1/2 hour. It took me 5 minutes to stand on it. There was a short period of about 10 mins where it felt pretty good. I got 3 waves on it, one big one that I made the mistake of riding all the way in towards the middle. A mistake at the spot we were surfing. Shore rebound and whitewater I would have had fun on riding the Foote had me falling 20 times paddling the Alana....that did me in and we swapped back.
I'm sore as hell today. Didn't make it out for the dawn patrol I was thinking of and I'm helping my daughter get into her new house today so no water time. Tomorrow we're moving her in but I'm thinking the forecast looks decent for my local spot at Plymouth beach so I may get out at low tide for a couple hours then.

Whatz^...as I mentioned in one of the GoPro threads.... I don't like to done the dorky headband mount on road trips, especially if theres a crowd of surfers...and there was.

And I don't need anymore nose cam vids of my Alana.

I would have liked to head band it... brought it, but figured I have so many vids from Icebergs, blizzards etc that my computer is about to explode.

Sorry... a sigle pic was all Bob allowed time for... waves were waiting  :)

Cyclops, PDLSFR, mrbig, JP, Jeremy no go pros, no solo shots, no drones, so clearly there were no waves or were there..

My spies told me a couple of big guys were near a bar, but SUPed in a hole! J said one had a goatee and was from the cape. Strictly hearsay anecdotal gossip in a parking lot.

I almost brought my camera out. Had it in my hand but put it away. I haven't been out much lately and didn't want to bother with a camera....just wanted waves. I would have had a few good opportunities of shots of creek. He's so damn smooth on that board and makes it look easy. He's always in the right spot for a wave too.

It's a very forgiving board, and you can surf it from anywhere. I was in baby waves on the west side today, and was intentionally standing with both feet on the waveside rail. What a hoot, it side-slips.

Creek:  Understand the "roadtrip etiquette" comment...... can't wait to get up there this spring but will need to have the water temps come up - I've got the new board and a gopro but I'd really be pushing it if I purchased another thing....like a wetsuit!  (I have just my 3/2)     :(

Continued fun to yuuuu's guys!
