7'10" Vangard Tomo inspired garage build

7'10" x 30.5" x 4.25". Around 115- 120L. 14lbs, carbon under ash deck patch.  Had it out in weak knee high glass.  Very fast and loose.  Should be awesome in bigger conditions.

I like it jRad!

Nice treatment of the forward rails on the bottom, and I am a fan of narrower tails on these "Blunts"

Great deckpad!!!!!

Can't wait to hear how it handles the good stuff.

That's a great looking board! And yeah, the way the rails on the bottom were shaped looks awesome and totally functional. Any updates for how it rides? I'm really surprised that a big tomo style board like this is only 115 to 120 liters though. It seems like the volume would be a lot higher.

Love the rail concept (especially towards the nose).  Very cool.

So good. What's the bottom contour like in the front and middle?

Also, talk a bit about the rails, planned or just how it happened? No offense but a lot of my own stuff just "happens."

The bottom is quite complex.  There is a concave between the chine on the rails on the front 2/3, turning to a v on the tail.  I will attach a photo of the bottom details later today, I pretty proud of the final product.  So far I've only had one decent day of waist high glass and I like the speed, skatey feel, weight and float.  I haven't found anything that I don't like yet.
