That's a bit different from their 2014 "skimming across the surface of the water" philosophy....

If simple optics were equal to performance ..it would be 2X as fast as that Starblunt next to it. I love the look of the forward shoulders/chine breaks.  ..but I am a looker not a racer.

Similar to the massive underside displacement Coreban came out with a couple years ago, and the reviews were lukewarm.

Must be a flatwater board, right?  Pearling that thing on a wave would be game over  ;D

No downwinding for that board.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Looks very nice for flatwater, calm wind sessions.

Not too far from their Fly lineup, like the white 12'6 in the picture.

I don't think it will be good for dw. Neither is, for me, the "boffing" nose of 2014.

Something in between, like their "sprinkler" bow from 2013, which won't track, nor will it boff and send one over the bars.

In fact, i got my hands on one of those, like the red one in the picture, but, HRS. Beautiful for milder 15-20 kt dw on shorter period swells.

I think you mean "boofing" (or just boof-nose). Boffing is a different activity altogether...

Oooppss, double "o" for sure! ... My verbal english is just as bad as my body english on an sup, specially on the boof-nose boards on short period dw.

Looks like a flat water specialist board. I've had boards like that in the past. They're great in calm water, not so good when the wind and waves pick up. They can be tricky when paddling in a side wind or quartering wind since the nose catches the bumps. I really liked their big round nosed board for downwind conditions. Has it disappeared for next year?

We are in the middle of "Prototype Time" Let's see what actually comes out.Sometimes they test against "known designs" to see if there is a benifit

Just my 2 cents
