We need one of those at Pleasure Point to clear the water of soft tops. Kinda like pulling the weeds before mowing your lawn.

So what's the hard cost on one of these?  Split 8 ways this might be affordable.  I like the idea of taking is out before we surf to clear our the line up :).

I think this would break the back of even the hardest standup hater.  I can just see them saying,  "Screw it, that looks like too much fun."

Ok ...
Just for clarification....most of these guys are die-hard proners....If we are to be free of predjudice we must not think sup is the shiz
One guy (Domke)  charges DOH on a skimboard....Jamie O'brien would paddle in with a blow-up doll if he could find one

Just rooted in Hawaiian tradition of fun ....canoes etc.

The Squatch is 72 lbs.   And $4000.
Must take a while to inflate.....but it beats even a 4 man for portability

There is a smaller version that has my eye..around 60 lbs  5 man...I am lucky enough to have a bunch of groms(10+) ages 8-16 who could put this to good use at a friendly wave that they already own.

Not sure how it would be on Cape Cod between hollow stuff, and the different beach patrols  (No kayaks).....But I may crowd fund this one

I think you have to enjoy a fair amount of mayhem with these, and I have seen a bunch of vids where the thing is pushed out by a ski....but the Yuk factor seems like a 10
