Interesting Rob...  I've been looking at motorhomes, but didn't relish the prospect of climbing those little ladders up the back you see on many.  ..plus, punching holes to bolt down a Thule, etc.. thru roofs that I hear 'all leak' already.  I'm planning on finishing my Meyers Manx.. and could rack that, then simply tow it.

My only concern about your rig is the prospect of some azzhole behind you, already distracted texting, not being able to see your tail lamps. W/O the scooter, you could center the quiver.

On my pusher I added two pieces of tube steel to the ladder, put roof rack pads on them for easy on and off and it kept my center free for bikes, etc. I welded up a SS tube steel extension from the side of my tow assembly with a plate and lined it with deck pad, that ensured the boards would not slip down. Very simple and effective. I put up to 3 SUPS on it.
