Here is a close-up with a dimension.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Got new 12'6 X 21 out on the water and it is defiantly showing increased stability and handling but still at the very early stages of testing so possibly more improvements to come. I may end wo chopping the bottom of the rear and playing around with a few more shapes.

Very nice.
What do you mean by "chopping the bottom"?

Once I have done a bit more testing I think I'm going to slice 2" of the rear half and re glass it then make interchangeable bottoms with different shapes to play with

This board was amazingly stable for it's width when I tried it today. My balance is truly dire so I never thought I'd even be able to kneel on a board this narrow never mind paddle it standing, without falling. I'm dumbfounded that anyone could build a board that narrow that I could actually paddle. Pretty amazing.

After a bit more paddleing I'm very happy with the front half however there are a number of things I would like to try on the tail so I got the cutting disc and Hotwire out!

This is a first for the Zone, surely?

It's going to be fascinating to see what difference different tails make. What an exciting experiment!
