Started this thread over a year ago and I don't think the wife and I have gone more than a day or two without talking about it.....I've probably made somewhere on the order of a dozen or so 3-5 day trips up there since visiting the wife family and getting in the water whenever I can.  Anyway, yesterday was a pivotal day as I met with the bosses and learned they were fully supportive of my relocation to NAVSTA Newport (RI) spring 2017. 

So now the search/decision on what to ultimately invest in....a condo or a home.  If a condo we'd be inclined keep the house in Annapolis and to find something in Newport within a reasonable walk to 1st Beach and downtown - that option would only be possible for as long as we continue to work...maybe 5 more years or so as we both would like to retire around 60 or so.  If a house, then sell here and find something out in Middletown or Portsmouth.  We've poured over Redfin, Realtor.Com, Zillow, etc., for many months and it just seems like one day we're thinking condo with the next being move lock, stock, and barrel. 

Kinda fun to be one step closer to spending a lot more time up in Lil'Rhody.......

Walking distance to a private point break.

Large lot with parking for all your SUP buddies.

Outdoor shower.

Surf Cam.

I moved here almost 20 yrs ago from ANNAPOLIS, could never go back, assatugue is the only nice thing about that region on the ware sports front, plus the kitesurfing sucks down there!
