Anyone want to hit Trails during this next work week? Feb 16-20
« on: February 12, 2015, 08:56:27 AM »
School is out for "Winter Break" next week, so I'm off work.   I'm hoping to surf Trails at least once sometime during the work week.  Anyone else available to go there?  Mid week it will probably be deserted.

Monday looks like 2-3'   Might be fun, if a little small.  How is that place when it's small, do the waves hold up?  I'm OK with 2-3' surf if it breaks.   Probably 8 or 9:00 would be good; high tide right at dawn, so later is better.

I don't have enough experience here to comment on how the waves will stand up there.  We could always check trail 1 from the cliff and then decide.

Sounds good.  I've surfed the place at 2-3 before years ago and it was fun.  What time works for you?

Jay, Tom you guys in for 8 or 9 at T6 on Monday?  OCSurf, you available?  Ralph?  Kayak?  Gremmy?  OldSchool?  Kernel? Anyone I forgot?  Direction looks good, should be fun.  Not as big as before, maybe chest high.  Tide too high at dawn.

Excellent!  Jay may go.  Super high tide at 6:45 but going super low, so it should drop pretty quickly.  Meet at 8 at T6?

I received an eyewitness surf report for DP this morning ... at 8am DP was about knee to waist, sunny with slight SE winds.  Bring the bigger board with more glide if planning for T6 tomorrow as waves forecast to be even smaller the next two days.

Uh Oh.  Knee-waist high surf and highish tide.  Not a good combo.  Do we need to rethink this?
