Cool Drone Footage of Teahupoo
« on: January 31, 2015, 08:29:06 PM »
Stumbled on this slo mo drone footage of Teahupoo.  Pretty amazing.  The drone gives an unusual perspective from a place no sane human would be hanging out.  I'm not a big fan of drones buzzing around, but this is pretty darn cool.

It's from a year ago, but I don't remember seeing this posted on the Zone.  Sorry if it's a rerun.

That is older and it's not actually a drone. Looks to me like it was shot from a boat in the channel. Shot with the Phantom super high speed camera, thus the super slo-mo.

Very cool...amazing detail.....won't be long before we have a Phantom on a Phantom in the tube with someone. Don't think I'd want it behind me though. The blast of air when the tubes closes would slam it into the back of your head... :o

Ok, now I'm confused.  Is there a Phantom camera AND a Phantom drone?

That is one of my favorite Teahupoo videos.  I showed that to a friend a while back and her response was,"Were we just watching people die?!"
