Here's a couple of mine. What you can't hear is the blasting Sublime (my favorite pre surf music). I put a subwoofer where the ticket book cabinet used to be...

Our set up is simple if repetitive: one white 1987 VW Vanagon to carry the SUP boards and waveskis, and one white 1990 VW Vanagon to carry eight windsurf boards (six inside and two on top) and assorted sails, etc. Wind, we drive the 1990; no wind, we drive the 1987; not sure, we drive both.

After a few years off the beach (due to piping plover closures), the buggy is back on the Outer hauling SUPs and associated beach gear.  This year, I added a new rack system which is fantastic.

2005 Land Rover Discovery 3 (or LR3 to you Yanks...) carrying my Fanatic Fly Air Premium (easier to just keep it inflated and carry it around - I'm lazy).

Our search for waves takes us from Miami Beach, under the "Bahamas shadow" (which blocks the swells), up the coast to clear the shadow, an average 2-4 hours each way (depending on how much North component is in the swell). Needing a way to get up and down I-95 safely and quickly we settled on this 2008 Cayenne. 90K miles and three years running with no problems (so far).

1999 Mitsubishi Nativa (Montero Sport stateside). It just keeps going and going and going. I've been daydreaming about one of those four-door Tacomas for years. But this thing has been paid off for 11 years and is still going strong.

Looks nice, Robert!  Are those Aluminess racks?  Or?  How do you like them?

Thanks, I built the rack / ladder combo myself.  Build is documented here http://www.fordtransitusaforum.com/camper-vans-conversions/15641-starting-my-adventure-van-build.html
