Australia Day Surf.

Jan 26 is Australia Day.

I had a great fun surf yesterday with all my SUP friends and the highlight was watching my friend Al teaching his son (James) to surf..

After pushing him onto waves he finally was able to catch some all by himself.. Priceless..

I had my first 10 waves at the back of Burleigh.. Tully creek on that day too..
First time I have actually felt like I have been surfing the board and getting the hang of it..
I am feeling like a 50 year old grommet again..
One of the guys that was out had a peg leg and I take my hair off to him for getting into it..he was having a dam fine time and goes to show how healhy this sport is for mind body and soul..
Look forward to finding some waves like in your video soon so I can play and ride those nice long full peelers...
