The thermometer outside my kitchen just said 4ºF. That's probably a little hot because the houses heat the air a little bit. Word thing is, last Sunday it was 50º! It felt like spring!

If it gets cold inside, just stay in the corners of your rooms.  They usually are about ninety degrees.

It's march. the crocuses are supposed to be in bloom. You guys are doomed. If there's still snow there for the Challenge on the Charles I'm staying in Hood River.

We got another 7" or so on Thursday.  Was out with the munchkin last night working on her snow fort and dug a path to the grill. There's 3.5 ft of snow still in the open areas and we have a wall 5'-6' high all around the base of the house and deck from shoveling. Only board I have access to is the Foote. I moved all the rest before the 1st storm into the garden and it drifted 6' deep in there just from that one....then we got another 2' on top of it, and now another 7". It's also been rained on and is now frozen like concrete. I'm paddling the Foote until the thaw....good thing its an awesome board.

We do have a little relief on the way. Supposed to be warmer with no snow for a week. Just hope it doesn't get too warm too fast. Hard to believe we are "springing forward" with the clocks tonight. Seems weird with this much snow on the ground.
