I told you it was gruesome.

This a bite on Kevin Swanson's leg while surfing at Morro Bay last December 28th.

LOL!  You had me instantly.  "Please don't look" is the best way to get everyone to look.  Seriously though, that is a horrific bite.  5 inches over and there would be no limb left.

Warning signs are back up in Morro Bay after a shark sighting Wednesday morning.

The sighting comes just four days after a Los Osos woman's surf board was bitten by a shark in the waters off Morro Strand State Beach Saturday.

The Morro Bay Harbor Patrol says several people surfing near Morro Rock reported seeing the shark before 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. They say it was possibly a 10 to 15-foot great white, although there were mixed reports and nothing has been confirmed.

The Harbor Patrol says several surfers rushed out of the water following the sighting. They say it was about 60 feet from shore off lifeguard tower number 1 near the rock.

The surfers were about 30 to 50-feet from the shark. No one was bumped or bitten by it.

Officials went out and notified everyone still in the water about the sighting.

The warning signs will stay up for 72 hours unless another shark sighting is reported.

I was impressed with the guy's calm. I was feeling queasy just listening to it.

Ahh, I've had worse cuts than that on my lip and never quit whistling.

Okay, yeah, that's nasty. I'm pretty sure we're seeing the back of his knee from the front.
