Advise pls. Weekend SUP trip Florida?

I finally got my wife onboard for a weekend SUP trip in Florida. We live in Jersey. She would need a lesson(s) and would love to be able to take a cool paddle tour when she gets the hang of it. We are pretty open on where in FL. Thanks for any suggestions you have

They do lessons, tours, rentals, etc etc  The staff is excellent! They also have a ton of great gear clothes and accessories.

Jupiter itself is great! Laid back, plenty of nice water, good restaurants and bars. Check out...The Food Shack, Guanoabana's and The Square Grouper. Maybe even do a lighthouse tour. GL!

+ 1 on the Square Grouper in Jupiter. Also the Thirsty Turtle has amazing cracked conch and best chicken wings on earth

Depends on when you are coming....from spring through late fall I would suggest St. Augustine....great wide open beaches (you can even drive on the beach)...great SUP specific shop "Ocean Extreme Sports"...good surf and good flatwater paddling...and your wife will love the vibe, restaurants and history of St. Augustine...If your coming down during the winter...go further south...it gets cold up here...

Go to calusablueway.com and we'll send you free maps of our 190 paddling trail in the Sanibel / Fort Myers area.  The maps list launches, state, county, federal parks, outfitters, marinas, beaches, and the marked trail.  The site has lots of tips for paddles, wildlife viewing,...  It is a paddler's paradise down here.  The wildlife is incredible.  When you request the maps, write that you're a zoner and I can send you my contact info in case you have any questions.  I'll make sure you have an awesome visit.

X,  What tde said..  St Augustine is a great spot.  We staid at a vintage motel right on the beach about 2mi S. of town.  Nice vibe there.

Another good thing about Jupiter is it's only 25minutes from WPB Airport! Water temps are still in the low 70's. GL and have fun no matter where you go.

Maybe one of you SFL folks can tell me why the N. side of the inlet goes unmolested nearly 100% of the time?  Look at this...!




I've watched this cam for the last couple of winters to remind myself of what what the Sun looks like.  There's always proners on the southside if there is a bump but have only seen a couple of kiters venture north.  I can understand the park makes it a 50' walk.. but jee'z?!

XP,  I forgot to mention.. anybody in lower PA, Jersey or close..  Frontier Airlines flies out of Wilmington (ILG) to Orlando dirt cheap (<$100 one way) on a limited schedule.  They are also very liberal (..for $75) about hauling a board if you do not want to rent down there.
