Damn. My downwinder music playlists -- "Paddle Hard" and "Paddle Harder" have lots of Joe Cocker in them. When the night comes, you can leave your hat on, unchain my heart, feelin' all right, cry me a river. All great paddling songs.

One of my all time favorites, both his early and later stuff. I saw him in concert about 4 or 5 years ago and it was one of the best concerts ever. He will be missed. I think I'll watch my Mad Dogs and Englishmen dvd soon.
