I was at Nukes Sunday and had that all to myself too (Mid Morning).  Trail 3 was a staple of my prone days but the walk was a more of a hike, and my prone board was a 25 lb. beast.  I think my arms were 2 inches longer at the end of the schelp.  I've actually never made the walk at Trail 6.

TW, you do know that your board sled makes all walks doable.  Best surf move I've seen.  :)

Yeah it's awesome. Anyone is welcome to borrow it. It took 80 bucks for PVC and wheels. The handle comes off to store.

OCSurf and I are talking about going down to Trail 6 on Friday morning.  Surfline says 3-5' WNW swell.  Think that direction will work?  Anyone else want to join us?

I'd love to join you but I'll be out of town. At this point things look good for Fri morning. Tide looks just right also.

Going south on the  5 freeway get off at Basilone Rd. Go right at the stop sign. Take that all the way to the end about a mile past the Nuke plant. Pay at the kiosk if there's even anyone there. Go to the very last bathrooms at the very end of the park. Park there and walk down the road. Get to the beach and decide what peak to ride. My favorite is north about 100 yds. Once you're out there you can paddle to the different peaks.

supsurf-tw's directions are right on.  But it's still easy to miss someone there.

If you go, we can exchange cell numbers and text to make sure we hook up.  It's a really big area, the stretch of surfable beach is probably 2-3 miles long, so it's easy to miss someone unless you know exactly where you are going.

It's a pretty long walk from the car to the beach.  A light board, carry strap or wheels are recommended.

Fluffy just ate a proner yesterday, so he is full right now.  :)  How does meeting at 7 AM sound?  Nobody has made a firm commitment yet, but if anyone else goes, I'm in.

If you guys park next to the last bathroom building I was talking about the trail is RIGHT THERE so that's always a good place to meet up.
