Last "what board" post before I'm buying

My first board was a MONSTAH Dolsey 12 feet long 34 inches wide 4.5 inches thick and weighed 37. pounds. Bought it in 2007 and sold it last year!

All of the boards you are looking at are so much better in every way!

My only thought is how much gulf chop you might be out in. 30 inches wide is a good place to start in chop. My exocet marlin was 30 inches wide and great in shirt period chop.

You can't make a mistake! Have fun in that WARM FL water..

Was able to stop into a couple shops today.  Checked out the Odyssey and a Jimmy Lewis 14' (he said it was similar to the Blade?  maybe the Sillouette?).  He was really keen on the Rubicon.  The Odyssey was a bit plain but yeah, for the price, looks like a nice deal.  The Rubicon looked nice, too.

2nd shop I was able to look at the BIC Wings and also saw a Bark Dominator that caught my eye, but I'm not throwing that into the mix at that point.

Both of the shops called BOTE, too, and didn't mention them once for whatever reason.

At this point, I'm really digging the sale on the sale price of the Jimmy Lewis.  The only thing I forgot to mention in the previous posts is that it might to be nice to be able to take along our small dog on the SUP, and I'm not sure that's the right board.  She's our first dog and we haven't had her long, so I kinda forget to factor her into these decision still..... 
Maybe if I get the Lewis, I can just let the wife carry her.

The BIC Wing LTD was nice but at full price, so that kinda turns me off.

The Odyssey, even if I don't end up with this one, is this a good kids board?  8-11 years old?  Thinking that's really a nice deal and might be a good way to try to get them on the water.

I just pre-ordered a production 14 x 26.5 BlkBox Uno from PBS.  Once that arrives (Feb?), and if you can wait, I'll be selling my 2014 12.6 x 29 Amundsen TR-X (carbon + bamboo!).  Comes with an FCS Race Cover board bag and Werner Soul (medium blade) paddle.  The mid-priced paddle is ripe for an upgrade (new KeNalu owner here!) but will get you started just fine.

$1300 for all if you pick it up.
