Great article.
The level of ability with women surfers is amazing.  We all see what the guys can do, because virtually every shot or video we watch is a guy.  My wife and I went to the Maui Target Pro, womens ASP event this year.  We went the first day of the comp and the last day.  Honolua Bay was small (2-3' overhead) but these girls were ripping it, and getting some great barrels.  What surprised me was what they were pulling off in the most critical sections of the wave.  They may not have the airs down like the men, but I assure you, that can work a face equal to the guys.
Its great to see local Nor-Cal girls charging and at the front of girls surfing big waves.

They all do airs when they are free surfing.

I have no idea why they don't just throw it at the end of the wave.

Thanks for the link. I surf with Bianca's step brother almost every week.

We are still trying to get up the nerve to see if she'll let us hang out with her.
