With all the talk about Tomo-style shapes, I was waiting for this vid to show up.

Yeah. It's like watching pros dunk, can do it in their sleep.

It is fun watching the experts thrashing on different types of boards, but generally irrelevant to how the board will do with a particular grom-being such as myself. The boards I have tried have all been quite distinctly different, though, I will grant them that, and there are those I really prefer over the others.

My Vernor is in the shop again with ripped fin box, so I have had to re-adapt to the spongy magnificence of the Red Paddle Mega.  Strange, as I slowly learn how to surf, the Mega is becoming a better vehicle as well. I had fun on it, and also managed to figure out how to snap it around in a pretty quick turn.  I tried to nose rode it yesterday, got out on it quite a ways for me before the splash.

I think I'll keep the coffee table at home.
