That's the one "ilovesup" did such a masterful job promoting last month:

ilovesup crashed and burned, but the fin itself isn't dead.  It may even have some merit.  Plus it seems like aluminum will never go away from here for long.

I like the Finautic website's tagline:  "The ocean is no place for comprimise".

That's pretty funny but also a bit scary.  The Chinese appear to be increasingly selling direct to the consumer, almost completely bypassing any US business involvement.

Bean, It is a World Market. I would expect to see a lot more China-to-US direct. For years there have been many small items where the mfgr. does not need a middleman. You don't need a camera shop to buy a gadget bag or Pep Boys to buy auxiliary lighting for your Honda. I believe there is an expected break thru with a high feature phone coming soon.  If Apple can sell in Shanghai, then we have to expect Xiaomi to sell here.

Jim, I know I'm stating the obvious but this will be a difficult field to make level.

Why do you suppose Alibaba was such a hot IPO. Amazon for Asia, and a lot more.

The good news is, w/ a market size of 14, shipping logistics will be relatively simple.   ???

The fin may be made in Asia, but isn't the company in Seattle?   The video is all filmed in Seattle.  It even shows the finish of Round the Rock with a caption, "And proving the design by winning in races".  And there are people with comprimised spelling here as well as in Asia.  Maybe they even spelled that wrong, and got a troll from Asia (who actually is some guy in Seattle) pumping it here to give the impression it's a Chinese company, so people will think they're getting a better price.

It's really not a bad concept, and the fin is pretty.  And it's is definitely the fin I'd want if I were a raccoon.

Seems like it would be hard to repair to original once scraped up on the beach or over a rock or two.  But may be good to have walking down a dark alley.  ;)

Is that guy gonna show up again and accuse people of blowing ladyboy's? I thought that was kind of a dead giveaway that he was Thai.
