Icky.... that was a very good article in DM, it was a very informative and passionate accounting of the CCBC experience.
Great idea to post in DM to stoke more people to join the event in the future.

You might have success if you submit that , along with pictures, to some other NE media as a sports highlight.... it's an important cause with a great heritage.

Congratulations for going the distance this year Ian.... it was great to finally meet you!

Hey Bob

My weather comment was not made to critique the great effort you make every year to put this event together.  Great Karma for you for sure.  Surely we all understand having to pick and stick with a date.

It was just such a beautiful evening down there last night, and I had just read Ian's article, seemed ironic to me.

That's a good idea, Stoney. I will pursue that.

Wow, Po8, sounds like it's been an epic week on the Cape! We've definitely got some unfinished business with Cape Cod Bay. Hopefully we can complete the journey next year.

Noticed PDLSFR wearing a Banh Pho T-shirt, wondered if he rides one or if it's standard wear for Northeast paddlers...

That does sound like a great week Todd. I trust the Uke got a workout too. We need to get Gillian back for another CCBC.

PDLSFR better post some pics with him on the fancy-shmancy new board soon. We jealous people need to see something!

Ian, logged 10 miles this week on it, definitely a good CCBC board as it's very stable in side chop and paddles smooth.

Anyone going to the Providence Paddle Battle tomorrow, I'll have it there if you want to take her for a spin.

Don't know if any of you guys noticed a drone following us around for the last stretch, that was my dad, and I wanted to share the rough cut footage.

Makes it look like a nice day!

Nice Laner! I was wondering who that was and if it would show up. Tell your Dad thanks.

It be really cool if we could get one to follow us all the way across next year? My guess it would require either multiple units or batteries?

No offense PDLSFR, but who would want to watch 10 hrs of drone footage of old farts like us paddling across the Bay?

this year however would have been good for a couple of hours with the weather as it was.
