Naish Hokua 9' vs Laird Surfer 9, 9'6, 10???

Hello, I am brand new to the forums but have been reading for a while.  I really want a new board with a little more performance in mind.  I started on and have been riding the old yellow 11'6" Ron House Laird with great success for over 2 years now.  I like both the Hokua and Laird boards.  I have an opportunity to get the Naish on a deal and not enough in the bank to splurge on both.  I just wanted to hear from some of you that actually surf these boards.  I am 6'1 and 185 lbs. and love small, clean, rough, whatever surf!  I am anxious to continue progressing in my skill and get into some bigger days as well.  Thanks to anyone with input!
