Great, another way to kill myself.  I think I'll pass on this newest incarnation of self destruction and blame it on age.

... but it'll be fun watching the vids of others.

It's easy to jump off something. The hard part is the landing.
It's not overhead to me!

I'd like to see him on Shark Tank.

"Ok, can you tell us how many units you'd have to sell before you can make a profit?"
"How does the FAA feel about your plan?"
"If I don't have a good friend with a plane, who's will to tow me, would I want to buy one?"

"I'm out."
It takes a quiver to do that.

Ooooh. I like it. Then again I walked away from flying ultralights and never looked back. I think getting off the ground will be the big issue. I've done tow soaring as a passenger. The beginning of the tow is the sketchiest part.

Looks pretty cool & could be a lot of fun....I hope he has really good insurance though.& I hope to God they aren't planning on towing guys up from the ground like gliders. I think more people will die in that process than ever make it to the sky if they do. How do you learn that part? & then make it to the parachute operational zone?.. Yup, I'm too old too :)

If...IF I ever dreamt of doing this I would not try to land.  Bail and sail.  I trust a chute.  Take off is bad enough.  But landing?  Sheesh!

...on the other hand I bailed (pun intended) on base jumping when wing suits were pretty much a videographers' tool.  I'm blown away at where that went.  wow.  So who knows?

For me it lost all credibility the moment he referenced Tailspin.
