Tattoo on Big Island

A good friend of mine is looking for a good local Hawaiian Tattoo artist on the big island for his first of a few traditional Hawaiian Tattoos. His father was born on the Big Island but moved to New England as a teen and he is looking to pay homage to his long family heritage and Hawaiian family roots.

So far we heard of Keone Nunes but he is not on the Big Island.

Dood, I'm barely awake, let alone capable of drawing on my memory banks about the best South Park episode ever. Except for maybe the one about the guys on their Harleys ('The F Word'). That one is pretty hilarious too.

Three canoe runs in the last four days and today is forecast 20-30, ENE, for the north side. The wind is finally back! Going on my standup today. Who has time to get inked if the wind is blowing?

Generally the return to Hawaiian roots that can only be expressed through cool traditional tattoos follows the drinking of the Chi-chi's, but he could probably just wing it.

Yes, usually at least a week

My bud isn't a surfer so he's not worried about going into the water, plus he is looking to have the work done on his last day there.

Any suggestions? All I've gotten so far is Keone Nunes.
