Dang.  Now I'm realizing why people in the 60s needed drugs.  It was too confusing.  I was around then, but young enough my focus was the Flintstones and the Jetsons.

Well then, I suppose you already know that Barney the dinosaur is actually Barney Rubble in drag.

No, no, no, first it was Barney Fife, who then became Barney the dinosaur, who then became Barney Rubble in drag, which led back to Barney Fife again, but couldn't shake the scarf from around his neck from Three's Company, which he ended up wearing from then on.  It's a sad story.
I blame "window pane", and I'm sticking to it.
It takes a quiver to do that.

Well, I'm glad that's cleared up. I always blamed purple microdot for Barney the dinosaur and just figured he was what happened after Bam Bam got done with him and sent him on a trip to HR Puff n Stuff (i hated that creepy show). I think pdxmike is so confused because if he was focusing on the Flintstones (somewhat intended for adults) or the Jetsons as a kid rather than Johnny Quest it is apparent your sense of space age vs. stone age would be off and you would confuse Jane with Wilma which leads to an attraction of red headed cougars. This also explains pdxmike a little as he took "Lightning Fast Word Play" in middle school over and over even tho by eighth grade he was teaching it for the most part. The teacher was a smoking hot red head always dressed in white. I don't think it's a good idea to even think about where Gazoo comes into all of this.

That was a surprisingly arousing explanation.

To get really ancient, the Flintstones was a cartoon riff on Jackie Gleason's "The Honeymooners".   Does anybody under 60 even remember that one?

Sadly, yes. Fred's voice was even a riff on Ralph Kramden and Norton was Barney Rubble. Yabba Dabba Doo.

Audrey Meadows was way to hot for Ralph, and Norton's wife was pretty sexy too.

I'm not but I do and I don't remember too much.  For many years my fav show.  "We got a saying down in the sewers."  "What's that?"  "Kick back and float downstream"

A very time honored and effective Hollywood ploy

That could be it's own thread topic.  Sitcoms with wives too hot for there husbands.

Most recent, Ed Oneill and Sofia Viagra in Modern family.  Oh wait his character has money so as Chris Rock says, you can deduct 20 years ( for the  one with  of course)

Holy Crap!  7 degrees of Bill Babcock.  I had no idea that you and Neil were getting it on.  Solid time to get into "music players".  You guys are really cutting the meat.  What else are you e-luminaries working on?  Phones without cords?  Toasters that can fit bagels?

So, for 100 bucks more than an iPod you will have access to about 5% of the titles available in iTunes, at a 30 to 50% premium per download.  And the main benefit is that it sounds more like an analog record?  Doesn't sound so Pono to me...

Does that make the music Ponography?

Yes it does, if you're on the royalty end of the deal. It was kind of doomed from the start, though there might be enough people with bedrock pillars supporting their 0.00009hts vibrationless turntable, listening to nothing but first press archive vinyl through their twenty tube amplifiers with 200 pound audio transformers who will want it. I think there's seven of them. I know one. He's nutz.
