From the rabbit hole,,,,,,,,,,,, I love Grace Slick (one of the best names for a female rock & roller ever), I was looking for the interview where she says that old rock & rollers should know when to quit touring "because they become an embarrassment", but I couldn't find it, but I did find this which is just about as good.

It takes a quiver to do that.

I remember seeing a Grace Slick interview in the late 70's or early 80's. She was a smart, no bullshit lady way back then.

Wow just watched that!  That girl is so dead on the money it's sexy. Now if we can, using science of course, graft her current brain into a replicated young body.

Back in the day that same brain was in a pretty terrific body. Too bad people age so poorly (except for me, of course). Should be like wine. You should get better and better until suddenly you slip past some point of perfection and go straight to vinegar. I guess to some degree that's what happens, but I'd like the vinegar point to be clustered to the end--maybe the last 30 seconds. Is that asking too much??

Also goes to show that the lucky ones came out of the 60's intact. She's dead right, it was just roulette. I don't know that I did as much crazy crap as she did, but I bet we were close competitors. And then I did all that insane motorcycle stuff, like no hands, standing on the seat of my bike through the tunnels on Mulholland Drive. What the hell was I thinking??

Still here, babbling away. Didn't expect to be.

Then I look at Boyum and think "how the hell did HE make it??"

I hadn't realized until now that Grace Slick and Grace Jones are two different people.

Drug addicts age poorly. Considering the amount of acid Grace Slick dropped in her heyday, I think she looks good. Others have not been as lucky: http://www.rehabs.com/explore/meth-before-and-after-drugs/infographic.html#.VBygqfldV8E

Meth has as much to do with LSD as Drano does to Seven Up.
