Priniting Full Size Template from AKU

Picked up my templates. The curves have some straight segments. It must be my CnC guys Cam program doing it. Its not a huge deal.
Next time I need to be in his shop when he does it.

We use AKU to design all of our templates. Then we send the AKU file to a second piece of software called Hollow wood template maker. From here you can print it off from any desktop printer and just tape all the pieces together.  Cut it out,  transfer to masonite,  and turn it into a "flip" template. Takes about 1 hour total to print it out and have it cut out of masonite and clean up the template.

"Hollowood" template maker kindly supplied as shareware by Jedail.fr. you can find a link to it on the Tree2Sea forum for all things wooden (also an ace site to look at).

I create full plans imported from an AKU .brd file into this utility and then have a local architectural printer knock out the pdf at full scale.....Always get really great results. It'll do rocker, plan shape and ribs if you need these for a wooden build.

My Mac isn't letting me open HollowBoard Template Maker. Is it a Windows program?

On a Mac, you can "print" a PDF and save it as a file. It's got the top and side outlines on that sheet.

I, myself, traced that in illustrator. But I'm sure you could edit that PDF and just print the part that you wanted. Kinkos could likely help if you can't edit it.
