Alright people!

I went for the 8’11” ... I figured it's just slightly shorter than the 9'1'' and still a 150L (which is a more than I need as a lightweight surfer).

Also I found a shop that was selling it for a very good price so I ordered it.

Thanks for your help. Will keep you posted with feedbacks on the choice.

Cheers

Good choice Fabs!
I started on a 10'5 Widepoint and now also have the 8'11 Allwave. It's a great board and very stable (I'm 85kg + wetsuit) and I'm so pleased with it. The other day I took it out for a flat water paddle and it was just as easy to paddle as the larger Widepoint so I'm sure you'll get on with it perfectly!!
I've noticed when surfing that I have to catch the waves a bit later it but it's all good fun!
Enjoy your new board and hope it arrives quickly as it looks like 'summer' has just arrived here (Wales)!
You'll be chuffed to bits with the Allwave!

"You'll be chuffed to bits with the Allwave! " That's a new one for me.  It sounds better than having your BITS chaffed.

Ha ha!! Must be a Welsh thing - the saying that is and not having your 'bits chaffed'! Ouch!

So a little bit of feedback on the choice.

I got the board a week ago and went supping the following morning (screw work!)

- super stable for its size (9'11'')
- I can still cruise even though it's a very surf-looking all-around board (you can still stoke 3-4 times per side and go kinda straight)
- it runs super fast compared to the crappy inflatable sups I used to rent and also respond very promptly whenever you touch the water with the paddle
- super cool look

Haven't tried it on waves yet but I bet it's ace on that front too.

Really cool board for a beginner and thanks to everyone for the sound advice!

Cheers

Glad to hear that you're pleased with your new Allwave! Took mine out for a surf yesterday and had a blast! Super easy to catch a wave and so much fun!
Hope you get a chance to catch some waves soon!
