New England southside swell shots

Last look at "Cristobal" before going to bed early ... up at 2am... Road Trip!!!!!

2.5 hrs later.... pitch black when I got there... solid line of surfers filling up the parking.

I jump out to check the waves.... "Hey Rick!" ....ha ha.. it's "linter" heading out in the pre-dawn. Game on.

kayadogg was on his way.... I had a great day with John and Kristin!

I have been on a longboard kick lately, so I rode my 10'6 Alana and left my Prowave for kayadogg to use.

Nose mounted cam, aiming forward.... got some fun clips when paddling back out. Pulled some stills for now.

I didn't surf too near linter or kaya... but I did manage a few distant shots of the.

It got bigger all morning... peaking just before noon.... but good all day.

Swapped the cam around for the last  1/2 hour of crotch shots...enjoy  ;D

That was a fun swell. Session 2 in the afternoon especially. I was wishing I had gone to work in the morning and just gone long late. Beautiful corduroy and long clean faces. Some of the best surfing I've done....I've been reliving a couple of the rides in my head.....still feeling the glow.

Thanks again for letting me use your Prowave Rick, awesome day in and out of the water. Felt great to be back in the Atlantic again with a little juice out there. Kristin really enjoyed hanging out too.

Later that afternoon we cruised some of the other spots to see how things looked, here's a few shots from later in the day.

Nice shots Creek!  Can't wait till we get some waves this winter.  Had a recent south but pretty mushball.

The main 48 got bookended quite nicely this week.  8)
It takes a quiver to do that.

nope.  i sold da hammer.  because i have very funny legs, i need a very heavy board to kind of absorb shocks (fr chop, bump, surface current, curse words, nasty looks, etc) that i can't.  the hammer was vvvvvery light.  in that pic, i'm riding my old 9-6 allwave, which is still a little too light, while my 31 lb pig of a sup is in the shop for a new fin box.  man o man do i long for that board to return.  come back to me, miss piggy!
