Some Shots from today.
It was hazy and hard to see the outside waves at some spots.
But BOOM....

I wonder what the Big Corona, south side of the jetty was like.  On rare, giant swells there can be very long, rolling right that breaks down the jetty.  Awfully mushy when I've seen it, but it might be fun on a SUP.  Think I'll stop by there tomorrow just to see if it is working.  Been years since I have seen it.

I surfed the inside left on foamers Tuesday night, very crowded. Still got my 20 waves.   A bunch of teenage kids with zero concept of inside pole position.  It's not mushy at 15' by the way.  I looked at it this morning, 15 guys proning it, good luck on sup's. The Cdm Boys made sure they dominated  every wave.  I passed this am and trucked down to K-38's. Bombs all day, all by my lonesome, oc sucks, too many peoples.  It was bigger and cleaner down here.

I surfed the left coming into k-38, k-38 proper and calafia,  7 hours of bombs, not one grumble, funny how 15' inside out bombs silences the peanut gallery,  I never did see ifallallthetime kooks from surfermag, hahahaah

Thanks to all for the recording of classic conditions you're
experiencing.  We're finally out of the summer doldrums here,
but you guys are having a swell of a lifetime!

You are Very Welcome Steve.

Waves are way down today.

HB was jumbled up..

Went to San Gabriel River to meet Scott Rose (Brennen's Dad)

We surfed the inside of the Harbor.

Not a high performance wave but,
You take off right on/next to the Jetty End.
As the Wave builds and the water swirls around the rocks
You paddle into the trough.
Big Double Over Head Drop.
Real gradual as it is going toward deep water..
A couple jacked up and gave me a wall to work..
Most were go straight with a couple turns..

Went back to the River Mouth (other side of the Jetty) and scored a few long ones.
The last one was from the Very end of the Jetty all the way in on the nose.....
That was a more than 2 football field ride...Look at the aerial
Damn that was a long ride
